Whether Angulo made weight or not, he’s a tough matchup for Berlanga. Top Rank is banking on Berlanga’s youth, strength, and speed to take the day, but this has upset written all over it.

Angulo’s so strong, Benavidez and Ramirez had to outbox him (mostly) at long range. AA keeps a low but steady pace, has a decent defense, power, and is a sneaky good counter puncher.

Berlanga hasn’t had to fight much on the back foot because he’s so strong, Angulo will make him, while testing his stamina, chin, and heart. Edgar will have to put bodywork in early and often to avoid being caught and overwhelmed late.

          Angulo by late stoppage.
