The Art of Cheating: How Devin Haney Beat George Kambosos

This guy explains it beautifully. Video footage and explanation of how Haney stopped Kambosos from punching.

You should be ashamed of yourself for continuing to push this narrative because you made a bad pick in this fight.

It’s clear you picked Kambosos for reasons other than boxing skills and ability. That is why you can’t let the loss go.

This is how Spoon23 behaved after Floyd beat Manny. You never want to be the equivalent, yet you are. SMDH.

You should be ashamed of yourself for even posting this to me. What kind of person are you? This **** is ridiculous. Why do you think the heavyweight division suffered when Wlad was king? Why do you think people had issue with Floyd when he beat Manny? Oh, wait, I know why ... because you can't get past your bull**** insecurity that you project on me and anyone else because you fanboy over some guy. That's why.

Juts keeping it real and honest.

The ref was was the worst, and this tactic wouldn't have worked without that ref. That's for sure. If you clinch, then clinch and try to fight out of it. But if the ref isn't going to allow clinching, then issue a damn warning and then point deduction. You can't break them up as soon as they clinch. A vicious feedback look is created that you can't escape from.

Of course, Haney does a lot of dirty tricks to avoid getting hit. He ducks so low that the opponent's only available option is to hit the back of his head, which is illegal.

He's more fit in the MMA entertainment business than boxing. He does a lot of acrobatics. I think that's exactly where most of his confidence come from. His ability to form gymnastic contortions to his body.

Haney's absolute schooling of Kambosos has hurt a lot of feelings. People are beginning to sound like Wilder after Fury manhandled him. The bottom line is, Haney completely shut Kamobsos out. Kambosos put in one of the worst title defenses in recent memory and couldn't win a round even when Haney took it off, talked all that **** in the build up and couldn't even win a round when Haney was taking a breather, but people want to say 'Haney cheated doe.'

Beat him so easily that it looked like he was cheating.

How about blaming Kambosos's ****ty 'mind-game' strategy in the build up that seemed to backfire, his poor preparation with failing to make weight and his absolute piss poor performance on the night. Haney negated him easily and Kambosos had no answer. That's all there is to it.

He does duck below the waist, a lot. And with that he holds a lot too. The reward for that style is that usually no one likes to see you fight. Floyd kind of broke the mold with a similar style and still being a star, but most guys just fade away with that style.

So you're saying that you didn't watch the video. Okay. If you watched the video that explains what was going on inside of the right, you wouldn't be saying this. I'm not as concerned about what happened outside of the ring than what happens inside of the ring. Boxing is what happens inside of the ring. What Haney was doing for large stretches of the fight wasn't boxing.

Watch the video and then comment.

Yeah. Also this referee was either paid off or so incompetent that he shouldn't be refereeing. Either way he should never ref a match again. Rigondeaux tried this with Loma, and it was a big problem then. But luckily Steve Willis was referee that fight, arguably the best referee in the sport, so it wasn't as bad.
