Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Open To Fighting Chris Eubank at 160

Conor Benn does not sound confident he will be facing countryman Chris Eubank Jr. in the near future, but his latest appeal for that fight includes what would be a significant concession.

Eddie Hearn must know, that this fight has to happen.

There is too much potential in the fight. Their fathers rivalry and legend etc.

I would like the fight to happen at 160 pounds, otherwise the fight is devalued.

It does make good business sense. May as well make the fight, than fighting the likes of Algieri, with all due respect.

Benn is in line for some title shot down the line, at welterweight.

This is a ridiculous article. There's no new news here. This is covering old ground, and it's not even up to date regarding when Benn will be out next. He's not fighting July 9. He's fighting in September now. July 9 is being headlined by Derek Chisora, as stated in another article on this site. Add to the mix, the rehashing of the silver spoon mentality, that Conor is the son of a famous fighter, and we have the perfect nothing article to rile up the haters. Pathetic. But anyway. Since you will anyway. Haters, it's over to you lol.

Why is this even a topic? Hearn wouldn't let him fight Avanesyan, so you know he's not letting him fight Eubank Jr. @ 160! How about letting Montana Love move up to 147 to fight Benn?
