Comments Thread For: Inoue: Ranking Donaire With Anyone I've Faced, He's More Special Than Anyone Else

Naoya Inoue had a feeling that he hadn't seen the last of Nonito Donaire after their first meeting. Their sensational November 2019 fight doubled as a bantamweight title unification clash and the final leg of the World Boxing Super Series bantamweight tournament, with Inoue claiming a well-earned twelve-round, unanimous decision. Following the fight, Yokohama's Inoue was expected to defend his IBF/WBA titles versus then-WBO champ John Riel

Fireworks coming! The best fight to make in this weight happening again. Hats off to this two warriors accepting this fight again, not only glory and belts at display but health. Inoue got to finish this fight by stoppage to remains in p4p list. Great Fight!

Like Bradley and Frampton I give the Flash a big chance to beat the monster by stoppage.

This fight is way under the radar!

Hoping that Donaire pulls an upset but i expect Inoue to stop him this time.

This type of fight shouldn’t be aired on a Tuesday morning. This is one of the year’s best matchups and deserves to get a lot more exposure. It would’ve been nice if they set it up the same way they did with Kambosos v Haney.

Unbelievable that Donaire is fighting the best at 118 at the age of 39. He still has a puncher's chance but it would be a massive upset.

LMAO, he must not have fought anyone them. I mean am I missing something here? I remember Donaire being the same dude that got embarrassed by Rigo, blasted out by Nichols Walters and shut out by Frampton. And people are jizzing over this?

Donaire is probably an all time top Superfly and Bantamweight boxer and you’re ****ting on him for getting “blasted out” at featherweight? How many former lineal champs at 115 even challenge the top KO guy at 126?

LOL the hypocrisy on this site and all over. Donaire loses all of his big fights and is now 39 years old and this is a "great" fight? Yet the same people jizzing themselves over this fight are calling GGG at 39 is a cherry pick, when he by many (not me) is viewed as still being undefeated and is a unified champ? And Inoue should be considered a top P4P guy for going life and death with a guy that Rigo toyed with? Not saying the GGG/Canelo fight is a good fight, but if that one sucks then this Donaire/Inoue fight is putrid.

This has to be the most overblown overhyped fight ever.
