Flores is from the Philippines, and for some odd reason sometimes they name their son's like that.
That said Flores was undefeated, Nieves was coming off of a long lay off, so it was a good win/step-back into the ring for Nieves.
His next opponent on 6/17/2022, Joseph Ambo 10-2-1 (6 KO's), with a more conventional name is also from the Philippines.
Lets see if he can make it two in a row against Philippine fighters, and fight fight progressively better opposition from there on out.
