  • Jeff Mayweather just said that Ennis vs Thurman is next

Not sure if I can name the podcast but Jeff Mayweather was ask by a fan today who he wants Ennis to fight next & Jeff said that Ennis is suppose to be fighting Thurman next...he heard it from several inside sources.

Finally someone with half a heartbeat for Ennis.

Thurman couldn't even stop Barrios. I think he's toast.

Not really the elite matchup boxing fans would want to see.

But at least Thurman is a step up in competition.

It isn't fighting Conor Benn though.

        Nor Virgil Jr.

Such a fight will reduce Thurman to journeyman status.

He made Barrios turn into Sloth from the Goonies.

Thurman is too smart to do that right at this particular time in his career.

It's a good fight for Ennis, not so sure it's good for Thurman.

No way Thurman fights Ennis. He wouldn't fight Spence when he was coming up, why would he fight another up and Comer.
Thurman would fight Broner before Ennis.
