The welterweight standout will get a chance to put his skills on display in prime time as he fights an opponent to be named in a six-round special feature Saturday, May 21, at the Resorts World Event Center at Resorts World Las Vegas. Johnson's bout will open the ESPN telecast of the Janibek Alimkhanuly-Danny Dignum WBO Interim middleweight world title bout.

They've gotta build their prospects up somehow. I think Dignum is pretty decent too. Seen him on some of the small hall shows over here. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins.

Yeah he's a decent fighter from what I've seen but janibek looks pretty damn good

It's a small show between two non-Americans in a 4,000 seat arena in Vegas its not gonna draw money for a packed undercard as well. Perfect show to build up prospects and to get them out and there the ones who are probably gonna sell the tickets for this one with there friends and family and what not turning up but still will probably only sell half the arena
