  • Comments Thread For: Promoter Rebuffs Usyk Weight Loss Concern: His Conditioning Is Not Affected; He's Feeling Great

Oleksandr Usyk is apparently in tip top shape, despite the fact that he may have lost an abnormally large amount of weight. Reports surfaced last month that Usyk, the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF heavyweight champion, had shed 22 pounds in the space of a week, just after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Usyk's homeland.

Unless he was cutting weight in order to get into a fistfight with *****,I don't think he lost that amount of weight that quickly.

Danm, I can't even imagine. Your in your country that's being invaded wondering when and if your going to get bombed. Can't imagine I'd have much of an appetite or even want to work out.

I wonder if he's looking to come in lighter, heavier, or the same for the rematch. I already get the idea that Joshua is going to come in heavy because he's openly said he's gonna look go for the knockout.

"...he believes he can be of more help to his country by defending his heavyweight belts". The tens of millions payday has absolutely nothing to do with it. Yeah sure...wanna buy my half of the Brooklyn Bridge?

22 lbs lighter so 200 even is his walking weight. This is music to aj ears. Tactic now jab grab and lean if still close towards round 9 go for ko 9-12 when usyk slowed down from carrying the extra 45-50lbs around

People like to pretend that elite fighters are not PEDs, big disadvantage for Uysk as AJ will be on the best gear on the planet.

Usyk is absoloutley 100% a PED user also, him and lomachenko you think they have infinite stamina to move every second of every round and throw a million shots even as they head deep into their mid 30s and gain weight lol. Usyk was even manhandling AJ in the clinch lmaooo I expect to see him body slam Fury soon.

AJ is on PED's also but his supplier needs to get him better **** like that stuff the Soviets use.
