LAS VEGAS - Shakhram Giyasov's welterweight debut went well Saturday night. The 2016 Olympic silver medalist from Uzbekistan dropped determined Mexican Christian Gomez three times - once apiece in the fourth, seventh and 10th rounds - on his way to winning a 10-round unanimous decision on the Canelo Alvarez-Dmitry Bivol undercard at T-Mobile Arena. Judges Lisa Giampa (99-88), David Sutherland (98-89) and Don Trella (99-88) each scored their fight for Giyasov by huge margins.
