Comments Thread For: Bivol Plans To Take More Risks Against Canelo: 'I Have Enough To Win This Fight'

The knock on Dmitry Bivol of late has been that he doesn't kick it into second gear in fights that he's comfortably winning with intent to score a knockout and convincing victory.

He finally realized pure boxing at back foot will never be enough to win. War Bivol! Beat Ginger Hulk.

A spread that has moved from 400-550 and climbing states otherwise. Harder for you to get money on Canelo. The fight is signed, sealed, and delivered. Like one insider said, the fight was done before they stepped in the ring. What's the next big fight? I'll catch the youtube highlights on this one.

Bivol can win this, boxing from range. His inside game might not be that good.

He has to be effective from the outside, like Mayweather, and at times, how Lara did against Canelo.

It can't be just on the bicycle like Saunders, but not landing effectively enough. Plant did a bit better than Saunders, but also didn't win enough rounds clearly with clean punches.

Make it happen lad, you’ll have to knock him down 3 times to win each round with the bought judges

Mayweather was much superior at that time. He was even effective standing right in front of Saul. As for the Lara fight, did you actually see it? Lara did two things well. He ran a complete marathon during the fight and in the second half he was running faster than Usain Bolt. There is no way that Bivol will either be a marathon man or run faster than Lara did if he expects to win.

It depends on how much a punishment he's willing to take. Canelo is a punisher who is also capable of taking some.
