Shakur Stevenson intends to add two more 130-pound championships to his collection after Saturday night. The undefeated southpaw won the WBO junior lightweight title by stopping Jamel Herring in the 10th round of his last fight, which took place October 23 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. If the favored Stevenson conquers Oscar Valdez on Saturday night, he'll leave Las Vegas with the WBC super featherweight championship as well.

Shakur Stevenson can be the man to straighten the superfeather-weight division. I remember when Gervonta Davis vs. Jesus Cuellar was sanctioned for the WBA 'Super' championship, even though Alberto Machado had defeated the former WBA 'Super-featherweight' champ Jezreel Corrales -- Granted Jezreel Corrales lost said title on the scales against Alberto Machado.

However, Gervonta Davis nor Jesus Cuellar ever won a 'regular' WBA belt. You could argue that Davis was worthy to fight for the vacant 'Super' championship, but surely not Jesus Cuellar.

To make matters even worse Oscar Valdez should of been stripped of the WBC 130 title for violating VADA anti-doping test in his title defense vs. Robson Conceicao.

Then you got that stripped and Japanese disgrace drug offender who flies under the radar, Kenichi Ogawa, once again as the IBF champ. If you ask me Ogawa should of never qualified to fight for the IBF ever again!

This division is almost as bad as HW, lets go Shakur!

130 has mostly been a passover division. I don't know if shakur is going to be quite the star he thinks after beating valdez. Probably won't be enough to convince other guys/promoters to cross over for a fight their guy has almost no chance at winning.
