Comments Thread For: Hearn On Usyk-Joshua Rematch: Gonna Be In July, We're In Final Negotiations With Sites In Middle East And UK

The finish line finally appears in sight for a long-awaited unified heavyweight title fight rematch. Details are still being sorted out for the contractually bound sequel between WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight titlist Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, which is now confirmed to take place this summer. Finalizing terms for the anticipated clash has taken longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances but now at least has a sense of when the fight will occur, with the rest expected to fall into place.

Would be a shame if the fight falls apart. I see no reason for it to fall apart but like the article states, it's still not past the finish line. Hopefully everything is good to go and we get the rematch in July. I got Usyk! Let's goo.

Hearn will make sure that Usyk is robbed on the cards this time.

I don't believe for a minute that Fury is retiring. But with this fight not happening until July, Fury may squeeze in another fight first. A young lion like Frank Sanchez or Filip Hrgovic.

Joshua will never have the skills and boxing ability to deal with Usyk he might have a punch and size with the much smaller man but the odds are against that,.......... BUT I know a man who can!

All of Usyk's skills mean nothing if he is mentally not in this fight, which is quite likely given what is going on in Ukraine.
