AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas - Lightweight contender Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz proved his impressive performance against three-division champion Gervonta Davis last December wasn't a fluke. In a dominant, knockdown-filled performance, Cruz dropped the proud former unified featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa four times en route to a dominant fifth-round stoppage of Gamboa in the co-main event.

Just can't see this guy beating any of Loma, Haney, Davis or probably Kambosos. Let's see him with commey or bakatani next

Isaac Cruz should be a featherweight, I cant believe that he missed weight on the first attempt. Its tough finding opponents without physical advantageous. The geezers collecting a check before retiring are earning it the hard way, I like it.

How about you "send it" by accepting that offer from GB to fight Ryan then?!?

That same Gamboa went the distance with Haney hahhahha.

Cruz destroyed Gamboa worse than Tank or any past opponent has.

Rayo obliterated Vargas in under a Rd where as Cruz sc****d by that same Vargas sooo....Wouldn't hold much stock in Haney not being able to KO Gamboa or Cruz doing so.Haney is as feather fisted as Paulie but he would comfortably box Cruz's ears off to a MD. Nothing impressive about Cruz or his win last night, where talking about a shot to ****,small ass Gamboa here ffs.

Ryan and Haney are tall, long, fast, skilled and in Ryan's case, explosive as anyone in the sport, young prime fighters. Tiny ass guys like Cruz, and Tank for that matter, will have a hell of time trying to close that distance trying to get in range of either, leaving themselves vulnerable to counters. Especially Cruz who likes to put his head down and loop wide ass shots as hes coming in. I can easily see him clipping Cruz near the top of his and ending it fairly quickly Ala Duno and nearly Campbell at the end of rd 6. They try to stay on the outside and outbox Ryan or Haney?? Yea,good luck with that as well.

Jose Valenzuela, Frank Martin and possibly Zepeda will be the guys to watch. With them, you can clearly see the skills and are imo at a higher level than a guy like Cruz. Those guys will be problems for anyone at lightweight.
