Comments Thread For: Cody Crowley Drops, Beats Up Josesito Lopez Over Ten Rounds

ARLINGTON, Texas - Cody Crowley took another step Saturday night toward the type of meaningful welterweight fight he wants. The Canadian southpaw dealt well with Josesito Lopez's power during their 10-round, 147-pound bout and was the more active, accurate puncher.

What is wrong with these veteran fights who are older and inactive fighting a high volume younger fighter?? Lopez made a bad decision against a guy all wrong for him.

        Just a note:

Cody Crowley's performance is what Mykal Fox TRIED - but failed - to do against Maestre.

Crowley was flashy AND landing clearly.

No power...but a beautiful display AND the man is tough as hell, because he took some hellacious body shots and kept throwing.

I’m now a fan of crowley. No power but volume plus punch variance in combination is quite impressive
