Comments Thread For: Yordenis Ugas: Odds On Spence Fight Don't Mean Nothing; Been Underdog Most Of My Fights

You can't blame Yordenis Ugas for his dismissive perspective on odds. Shawn Porter was a 6-1 favorite versus Ugas ahead of their fight for Porter's WBC welterweight title in March 2019. And Manny Pacquiao was nearly a 3-1 favorite by the time he squared off against Ugas on August 21.

After watching some of Ugas and Spence older fights lately I cant see how Ugas can beat Spence unless Spence is completely washed. Kell Brook was holding his own and arguably winning the fight up until round 9 and we saw how that turned out. Spence is capable of being a dog in the ring. I credit Ugas for what he has done but not sure he is on the same level.

        “Don’t mean nothing?”

So basically Ugas is saying the odds DO mean SOMETHING?

        I’m just busting his balls.
