Johnny Owen was a good fighter the 'Merthyr matchstick' he died in a world title fight at only 24 so that was sad and this will be a good achievement from gwynne to do that for his town and give them another British champion

Good luck to Gwynne. He’s been in the away corner several times in his career, hopefully with MTK’s backing we get to see how far he can go.

Would be great to see him emulate Owen capturing the British and then European title.
