Comments Thread For: Valdez: Shakur Is Even Better At Social Media Than Fighting; I'll Let Fists Speak For Themselves

Oscar Valdez's validation last year came in the form of a career-defining upset of Miguel Berchelt. Berchelt was a 4-1 favorite to defeat Valdez, who disproved plenty of naysayers when he challenged Berchelt in February 2020 for the WBC super featherweight title. Mexico's Valdez, a former WBO featherweight champion, sent Berchelt to the canvas in the fourth and ninth rounds prior to brutally knocking him out when he perfectly executed a left hook in the 10th round at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.

Those waivers in that gym might help Canelo but they won't save Valdez from getting pieced up.

Speed kills. Years ago when Mayweather fought Mosley and many were calling for it to be close or swaying Mosley, the top writer of another boxing site said it won't be close because of Mayweather's speed. That's what I predict for this fight. It looks 50/50 but I think Stevenson wins easily.

It's okay to dream. Stevenson too much speed, too much everything.

Shakira saying he's the best boxer pound for pound.

If he's another Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker, gotta prove it.

Valdez needs to attack early, hurt him to set the tone, Stevenson hasn't been hurt or in a rough fight, Valdez should be the most toughest challenge yet by pretty far id say, Valdez has the experience and power to rough him up and hurt him and Stevenson hasn't never seen any of this
