Comments Thread For: Terrell Gausha: I Hate Losing But I Went Out Like A Champion

MINNEAPOLIS - Terrell Gausha vowed to present Tim Tszyu with a look he hadn't seen before as a pro. The 2012 U.S. Olympian and former title challenger made good on that promise, though just not to the point of closing the show.

Nice touch by Gausha! True warrior indeed! He'll be back stronger and better and it's obvious he was prepared for those 12 hard rounds we saw this past weekend.

Look liked Gausha went into a shell just to survive in the last few rounds in my opinion....I thought I heard his coach tell him to get off the ropes and take the fight back to the center of the ring.......but any pro fighter at that level is a champ regardless

Yes he did! Gausha was forced to open up more than he prefers but he stood in there and took a lot of big shots while still trying to land some hard counters himself. That was a MAN's performance by Gausha on Saturday night and that's why I love fighters like him. Is he going to be a world champion or be elite? Nope, but he's also going to make you work for it and he's durable so he will be there for the entire 12 rounds.

Good work by Gausha but even better work by Tszyu!

It was a really good fight, Gausha showed heart and Tszyu faced and overcame adveristy. Looking forward to both of their next fights.

Tszyu needs to fight the winner of Charlo/Castano or at least another high level fight at 154.

As for Gausha, how about Jesus Ramos? Or Gomez? He's going to make you work for it and that is the perfect type of fit for a young fighter.

Gaushe should fight Brian Mendoza next since they just literally fought on the same card two days ago.

Maybe for the first two rounds then he was basically half way to aurvival mode but doing enough to not have the ref intervene. Also looked like the ref helped him up a bit after the "no knockdown" which was clearly due to a body shot.. why else would he ne clinching and smothering the rest of the round immediately after.

Terrell shows a good guard and clean counters.
Tim brought that pressure from rounds 3 to 12 and had him on the ropes but to Terrell’s credit he still has never been knockdown.
