  • Comments Thread For: Spence Open to Fighting Charlo at 154 as Long as 'It Makes Sense Money-Wise'

So long as the price is right, no fight apparently is off limits for Errol Spence Jr., even if that fight happens to involve a close friend. On the DAZN Boxing Show, Spence, the IBF and WBC welterweight titleholder from Desoto, Texas, was asked if he would have any interest in fighting his fellow Texan and close training stablemate Jermall Charlo, the WBC, WBA, and IBF 154-pound titlist.

Charlo don’t want that smoke from Errol. That’s the truth now. I have heard quite a few times that Errol has gotten the better of Charlo in sparring. Even though we know sparring isn’t true fighting, but it’s a good thermometer to where they might be in the ring

Terence 'P4P' Crawford has Errol so scared that hes willing to fight his drinking buddy -- As a matter of fact, I also think Jermell is afraid of Terence coming up to 154 and whooping his ass too, by recent weenie comments that Mell made earlier this week regarding TBC.

All three are near the same age and have problems making the weight. Jermall will be headed to 168, Jermell 160 and Spence to 154. Lets keep it that way.

I think Jermell knocks him out.

It has been obvious to anybody paying attention that Spence has ZERO desire to fight Bud but when Bud beat Porter it shouldve been obvious to everybody the way he bailed outta the arena. If Spence had any intention of fighting Bud that was the ideal time to climb in the ring and call Bud out.

There are definitely ppl on here who pay attention and know it but will keep up the pretence. Any non PBC fighter who would show a tenth of the negativity to a fight that Spence has showed for Crawford and they would be torn to pieces for it on here.
