I can't wait to see how Berlanga performs against Rolls, and his next 18 opponent's.
He's done well in his first 18 fights, he had Nicholson on the verge of a knockout when the bell sounded, and also had Coceres disfigured.
If those fights had been 12 rounders his knockout streak would've undoubtedly continued.
In regards to the Coceres fight if it had been a 12 rounder the referee would've stopped it due to the damaged eye, but Berlanga would've injured his bicep further so it worked out both of them.
Those last to fights were step up fights, and he rose to the occasion dropping Nicholson 4 times, and disfiguring Coceres' face.
Coceres, and Rolls have both fought for titles in losing efforts, lets see how Berlanga does with Rolls in his third step up fight.
If he wins his next 4 fights in 2022, he'll definitely be challenging the 168 pound champion whoever it is at the time, and he should be more than ready by then.

Berlanga has a very long way to go yet. Arum is pushing him but really he's not a good prospect. Their opponents except the last 2 has been picked out so he could easily knock them out. Lack of boxing skills. A lot to learn yet. Look at Morell and see the huge difference...

Did you forget the part where Berlanga was knocked on his ass and in trouble other times?
Coceres gave Berlanga too much respect the first half of the fight... thinking Berlanga was some boogie man. Berlanga showed A LOT of flaws.
