Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua Sides With Dillian Whyte Against Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua apparently has no plans on being a neutral observer for the upcoming all-British heavyweight title defense between WBC beltholder Tyson Fury and his mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.

Obviously! If Fury wins, AJ is further away from a world title than he’s ever been. If Whyte wins, he knows Eddie will make Whyte/AJ 2.

Fury will still want AJ. It's an easy fight for massive money.

Not so massive as it would’ve been before two losses to much smaller men. Yes, styles make fights, but Fury is clearly superior to AJ. No mystique here.

Yeah i agree but it would still do big numbers over here. I'd love to see it.

I don’t doubt the fight would still do well, but it might’ve been the biggest money fight in boxing history before Joshua dropped two fights against underdogs. I don’t really care either way; just shooting the breeze.

Does anybody care any more about the big wooden hypejob?
Really look at his record during his reign, it's full of shot old past it 38-41 year olds (4of6) looking for a retirement cheque & he's still never faced a top 2 heavyweight (don't be a casual & say Klitschko as he was unranked in the tbrb).
It's no coincidence the last 2 he boxed of his own generation both beat him.
He was a different animal bitd against Whyte but he also had no defence.
He's a jealous little man inside because Fury has been the money man since 19 (check forbes)
Hearn did well protecting him for so long.

This stigma of a a fighter losing a fight, seems to be losing its affect these days. Sometimes it is how you lose.

Anthony Joshua has avenged one of those loses, he has done something Tyson Fury has never done. Nobody knows if Tyson Fury has the inner fortitude to come back from a loss inside the ring 'But people know Anthony Joshua has this ability'.

I think Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is still a big fight. Joshua's recent developments outside the ring, the changes in his character also make it a more intriguing match up.

But I am not one of these people calling for that fight above everything else. There are other fights to make in the heavyweight division, there are other rivalries and battles still on going.

I would rather witness Joshua vs Uysk II, before Joshua vs Fury etc.

This is true. Joshua looks like Zeus , but crumbles when pressure is on. He is a more modern verson of Bruno. Sorry Frank is a great guy but he never could quite live up to the hype. I feel joshua is the same.
