He's riding this crisis angle. I see it now. With the response n support of his "being brave "moment, he's doing a series of b*******ness..outside of boxing idc...there's some good fights out there, make it happen. .

He doesn't want to give haters the pleasure of watching him lose so he'll likely avoid tough fights. , sad to see from a Mexican

Ryan gotta stop with the Victim mentality ( as you said ).
I know him since his amateur days and support him.
But even us that know / knew him are getting annoyed with his antics.

Having mental health issues outside the ring is one thing. No one should be criticised or judged for having mental health problems. At the same time, the person with the mental health problems should not expect kudos or respect as a boxer when they won't step inside the ring.

The issue with Garcia is that he somehow wants people to give him credit for work he isn't doing. He needs time away from the sport? Fine, go away. But don't say you can't fight but keep yapping on about how good you are in the ring. You're not good because you have issues.

Last time Garcia cancelled a fight and sat out on the side lines because he was "too sad" to fight, I remember him jumping on twitter and talking chit about the other guys, tank or haney or whomever. That is some weak ***** moves, the other fighters were kind to him in interviews but while he was out supposedly working on being too sad to do his job, he had the time to come out and talk chit, knowing that if anyone responds back he has a shield he can hide behind and claim they are bullying him when hes mentally ill.

IDK why people talk up elite athletes crying about their mental health, to be a champion, most of it is mental, you have to be mentally strong not fragile to be champ. Quitting because youre afraid or sad to do your job doesnt make you a champ. Simone or Garcia quitting because they cant handle the pressure means just that they are not the elite athlete they claim to be. THe best athletes were incredibly consistent. Jordan, mayweather, woods, ect. day in and day out performing under pressure.

It's frustrating because he has some very nice skills and talents that could take him far if his head was in the right place. I was impressed with how he rallied from that vicious KD by Campbell to stop the British fighter. I just see potential that isn't getting maximized. Oh well....

The Invincible Gay Boy. Garcia could star in a woke superhero movie if boxing does not work out.

This mother ****er needs to stick to doing ticktock this a blood sport where some warriors continue fighting with broken limbs, severe injuries or even leave it all in the ring and never recover there brain health.

A bit of anxiety from not enough likes from your Instagram clip or a few comments from trolls he’s mad at, is not cutting it for an excuse.

If most of us on here didn’t turn up to work because we were feeling anxious or down from lives problems we would be on the streets right now. Man the **** up.

This is boxing. Nobody cares about your precious "feelings." Life is tough on everybody in one way or another, so good luck trying to gain sympathy from boxing fans as a 23 year old multimillionaire backed (protected) by Oscar De La Hoya. "OMG, some people said bad words about me on the internet, now I'm depressed!" FOH.

I can see there are people commenting on this issue. It’s real and really not nice. No matter the money, fame or else, anxiety and depression is a very dark place in our minds.
say man up or grow some or even laugh but until you’ve felt the power of your own minds dark places then, stfu.

Some valid points here but it’s really hard to have any sort of sympathy for a fighter who talks big shyte about the opponent (on social media) before a big fight, then backs out of a fight because of mental issues, then talks big shyte on social media about the opponent again. Phuck this entitled little twerp and his bu!!shyte.
