Fernandez was already his second I believe so it’s not exactly a new trainer, it’s more of a promotion from within.

Surely this isn’t the move AJ fans wanted? I expected him to pick a fare more seasoned and experienced coach.

Why is he getting rid of his old head trainer?

Af was massively influential in the Ruiz 2 transformation where AJ for a big bloke moved well. AJ beats Joyce handily with this style (assuming AJ does Joyce to keep the belt with Usyk busy).

The problem with that one is that Joyce doesn't get hurt. He said in interviews a few times that his bone density was tested and much higher than a normal man. In one interview when his manager said it, joyce added 'granite chin'. He ate up Dubois's punches like they were nothing and I honestly think if Dubois lands like that on Fury, Joshua and Whyte, he's going to disable them.
Joyce will stand with Joshua and trade like he did with Usyk, Hrgovic and Dubois. He is very comfortable in that position, just right in front of a guy jabbing away comfortably and eating anything they land at him. His jabs will hurt them all. Usyk beat him in wsb 4 rounder but i wonder if usyk could go 12 rounds like that with him, he would bloody usyk up.

I can't see Joshua fighting Joyce though, he'll want someone smaller to prepare him for Usyk. It may be Hunter or maybe even get Breidis to HW. It's a mad situation that one. of course the Wilder fight is there...huge fight still.

Dubois couldn’t stop an old Kevin Johnson, his record is made up of unknown unbeaten boxers that somehow had a WBO rating.
Joyce has a good chin but Dubois’ power could be massively over rated
