Comments Thread For: Chocolatito: Would Love To Become Champ Again, Unify And Maybe Even Win A Title At 118

There is not much that Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez hasn't accomplished in his already incredible career. That is not to be mistaken for their not being anything left to achieve. For starters, the Nicaraguan boxing legend is eager to change his current title status from 'former' to 'current.'

    Don't do it Chocolatito.
Bantamweight IMO is a step to high for Gonzalez.

Would be interested to see if he decides to fight Inoue if he goes up. He and the other top guys at Junior bantamweight could be the biggest scalps the Monster ever collects, assuming he does beat them.

#2 has it; 118 is a step too far, especially at this stage, and especially Inoue, for Gonzalez.

Well, it depends, if it's casimero, I'll give him a chance. Buh he gets murdered by Inoue and Donaire

What about Estrada or Ioka against Inoue? Do you think those would be fair matchups?

Any of those fights, including Gonzalez, would be "fair". Let's not forget Inoue started off down at the same weights. But, at this stage, and at 118 , Inoue is too much for any of them imo.

I was hoping that would get brought up at some point.
