Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Rejects Retirement Talk: I'm Ready To Go Again - Show Me The Money!

Former world champion Kell Brook has rejected the idea of retirement in the immediate future. Last weekend, the 35-year-old veteran picked up the biggest win of his career when he stopped longtime rival Amir Khan in the sixth round of a one-sided fight in Manchester.

Good for Kell, hopefully he’ll negotiate a decent pay packet which he deserves in his next fight, he’s been a good servant to British boxing over the years, it’s a shame he underachieved (in my opinion).

At least he's keeping it real.
Strange how he's making moves on his way out of the sport

After Josh Taylor's disgrace today...he might go to 147 and challenge Brook. And I favour Brook to smash his face in.

Khan put in a rematch clause BUT given the one way battering he took should never be allowed in the ring with 'King Kell' again. If Kell wants to fight on then Benn seems the logical fight given the weight difference between him and Eubank Jr.

How could he promote a rematch with Brook after all of the shlt talk ?

I have a lot of respect for Brook, win or lose, he's taken on guys like GGG, Spence and Crawford.

He can get another big payday, bigger against Benn than the uninteresting Eubank Jr. He won't drain himself to welterweight. He'll make it around 150-154lbs.

At the tail end of his ''career'', which is a shame.
Losing all of your big fights is not all that enviable.

Boxing is a good offensive art but not defensive. Khan tried surviving but still couldn't dodge brooks onslaught
But hard to know who brook fights next. Not a unproven guy like Benn. Maybe eubank has credentials with his win over chunky
