Jerwin took that belt and had it in witness protection. Martinez deserves credit for the win and I hope he does well in the future, but Ancajas represents everything that is wrong about boxing "titles".

This division is hot because of the fights get made, striking while the irons hot. I'm saying that it's possible jerwin doesn't immediately come to mind while the kings are capturing the attention while fighting each other. . Fans seemed to be more interested in Gonzalez n Estrada rivalry then SSR emerged n added another chapter, cuadras, so on so on.. u understand??

Totally agree, with established fighters like Estrada, Chocolatito, Sor, and Ioka. Newly crowned champions like Rodríguez and Martínez (both very impressive winning belts) and still useful ex champs like Ancas and Cuadras, 115 is the best division right now.

And we still got Roman Gonzalez vs. the current prime WBC flyweight champ Julio Cesar Martinez coming up this Saturday. Two young prospects have got it done against the veterans, the momentum is looking good for Martinez ; however, the odds of this trend continuing does not.

What a fight ! Hats off to both warriors. Martinez would not be denied and Ancajas wasn't going to roll over , period. Whatever those two got paid , it wasn't enough.
I wonder what Ancajas looks like today. His face has got to be swollen like crazy.
After watching that trash Taylor vs. Catterral farce , I needed something like this to wash the taste out of my mouth. What a terrible wrestling match that was.
