The end has arrived for Guillermo Rigondeaux. No matter what is decided moving forward, the two-time Olympic Gold medalist and former lineal junior featherweight champion was made to look his 41 years of age in losing a ten-round, unanimous decision to Philippines' Vincent Astrolabio. All three judges scored the contest 95-94 in favor of Astrolabio, whose eighth round knockdown of Rigondeaux provided the margin of victory Saturday evening at Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

They robbed Rigo so they can feed Astrolabio to Inoue.

Nobody seems to be calling it a robbery

Robbed Rigo on a card put on by "Peoples Fighters", promoters who have this to say about Cuban boxing?

"We are the fighters of the people, Cuban boxing club we are a team of Cuban athletes from the Caribbean land where salsa, dance, joy come from, each of us grew up in very humble families where we play with stones since there is no balls, where you run barefoot since there are not always shoes, where you learn values, love and respect. We are here thanks to Mr. Nguyen in search of a dream that we are going to make come true, we are going to succeed not because we are the best but because of the desire we have to show the world our passion for boxing . In our country we have a history of Olympic medals in amateur boxing this was a nice start for what is coming, UAE we thank you for this opportunity and we are not going to disappoint you, everyone is going to witness the warrior blood that runs through our veins"

yeah, y’all only needed him to be about 50 yrs old to finally be able to get wins against him, and they still barely beat him. Those lower level guys wouldn’t have stood a chance against a younger Rigo.
