Comments Thread For: Khan On Loss To Brook: That Love Of The Sport Is Not There Anymore; I Felt Quite Flat

Amir Khan knew pretty early in his one-sided fight with Kell Brook on Saturday night that boxing probably isn't for him anymore. Khan trained hard with Terence Crawford's team in the United States for their long-awaited domestic grudge match. The British star wanted nothing more than to knock Brook into the front row at AO Arena in Manchester, England.

Khan better not duck the rematch. Exercise that rematch clause. Kicked his ass in round 2 and the first 2 mins of R1. Nash out.

Khan would have been 'quite flat' given another 30 seconds or so. I think it just dawned on Khan the game was up.

You could tell that Khan didn't really want it when he was walking to the ring.

Fair play to the man though, he gave it his best.

It so strange to me that Khan has such good speed but never learn to use a educated jab to open stuff up for him. His boxing I.Q. For the lack of a better word, terrible.

The problem was also not only that Khan didn't really want to fight anymore, but that Brook was deliberately underrated, he is in no doubt a genuine world class fighter.

He earned his money as he took quite a battering. Brook should take note though if he thinks he can once again take on the worlds best. He cant. He'd get what khan got saturday night im afraid.

He was way too inactive coming into the fight, had not fought in 3 years but he has been declining for a while. Brook beat a way over the hill Khan.
