Very underrated fighter. He is going to give Crawford hell. They match up the same size, it should be an absolute thriller of a fight. Basically a Mayweather- Pacquiao but without the media coverage.

Porter would beat Taylor, you will see when he gets to 147 the difference, Taylor hasn't fought a real top guy yet, he has beat some good fighters but good and elite is as far as the teacup to the lips.. I like Taylor a lot he is tough and determined but there are classes I don't think much of Postall or Prograis. Ramirez is knocking on the door to the next level, at this point Crawford is too much at WW he will stop Taylor if they fight.

Then you got Ryan Martin, whos lucky to have been unbeaten by the time he faced Josh Taylor. I remember that SD contraversial win that Martin got on the undercard of Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin I against bum Francisco Hernandez Rojo.

But anyways, like Ian John Lewis helped Josh Taylor get the win over Viktor Postol, so did Victor Loughlin after Taylor rabbit-punched Ryan Martin and punched him from behind -- no foul was called and the fight was immediately waved-off.



Then that Thai cab-driver took a dive and nobody seen him since.

So I guess that leaves Regis Prograis, that gave Taylor the beating of his life in the WBSS jr. welterweight finals nearly stopping Josh in the final round, and Jose Ramirez -- a odd performance to say the least, considering that Jose Ramirez would of won on points in spite getting dropped twice -- if only Taylor had not sneaked Ramirez on the break.

Ivan Baranchyk, was probably Taylor best win in terms of best performance, although Ivan never even made a single successful title defense after winning the vacant IBF jr. welterweight title vs. Euro-Bum Anthony Yigit. Baranchyk, had a very short career and was ended by Jose Zepeda.

No No No Porter won't beat Taylor at all. Porter is a VERY basic fighter, in the amateurs he was fighting at MW which means that his whole career he had to weight drain himself to make 147. Why is that ? Because he is such a terrible boxer that he has to overcompensate by getting the weight advantage. Now on to his style, he was a very tensed up boxer who couldn't make a dent on any fighter at the elite level because of his bad form/poise and technique. The only the he had going for him was a good stamina and a good chin.

As far as Crawford - Taylor I think Taylor can hurt Crawford and Taylor is the type of fighter that seems to have a high IQ and power which is a combination of factors Terrence hasn't dealt with yet. Crawford has his offensive skills as well and I would give him the edge however I don't see it is an easy win for Crawford and for me it would be the best win on Crawfords resume.
