It was great to see both men embrace each other after the fight and bury the hatchet.

The end of an era then. Hopefully Khan can just retire or have a send off fight against a journeyman.

No offence, Brook, but the fact he took them tells me that they were not, in fact, power shots.

I mean, the other day, some other guy here queried whether Khan's so-called 'glass jaw' was a myth, and he just had poor defence, etc.

Seemed very plausible to me at the time, but the guy was wobbled as early as round 1. Brook didn't finish him till the 6th, and even then, the ref had to do it for him

            What does that tell you?

Yeah, agreed. Still had a career most would dream of.

Congratulations Brook, a career defining victory in a way, his most satisfying win, in addition to when he won a welterweight world title.

This one though is the cherry on top for him. For Khan, he clearly showed he didn't have anything left, whilst Brook still looks pretty good.

It was certainly not the Amir that looked so sharp and slick beating Maidana and Alexander. As he said, he didn't actually really feel like he got going in training for the fight, and in the fight itself.

Props to both guys, the bad blood and rivalry is over. There is no need for and will not be a rematch. It was a once and for all one fight only event, and a conclusive result.
