Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: I Want A Sensational Knockout, Would Love What Canelo Gave Amir Khan

By Keith Idec - Kell Brook doesn't just want to punctuate his longstanding rivalry with Amir Khan by knocking out his fellow 35-year-old former champion on Saturday night. Brook would love to record a highlight-reel knockout, something so vicious that British boxing fans will never forget it. Canelo Alvarez's devastating knockout of Khan comes to Brook's mind whenever he envisions how their 12-round, 149-pound bout will end at AO Arena in Manchester, England.

I hope the laughs continue with Khan and his 'one punch can change a fight' his excuses are timeless. 'The man in the hat'......etc...lol.

So hard to pick this fight. Brook hasn't been Kod as viciously. So brook gets not for better chin. But Khan sounds so confident. So I'm going for khan. Not too confident though

Go back and look at how big Canelo was for that one, and then come back and tell me if Brook isn’t living in a dream world if he thinks he’s putting Khan in a semi-coma with one punch.

Getting Khan to dance like he’s at a Shaggy concert via accumulative punches seems more reasonable, to me.

But really, I sniff a highly contested result requiring a mega rematch…

I think Khan will lose, likely by KO, unless Brook has lost his legs and can't cath up to him. Khan has no chin and we've all seen that over and over.

Is it the photo, or does Alvarez have elephant legs.... Astonishing, no ankles at all.

"Would Love What Canelo Gave Amir Khan". That´s a weird game plan.

So, you want to slow down Khan by crispy body punches, left hooks and make him miss with ATG level head movement, then, KO him with a perfect overhand?

These are too much for faded Brook imo.

I interpreted it as he want to lose the first 5 rounds but then expose khans terrible fundamentals and all time weak chin by getting to him to fall for the old fake low and come over the top for an inevitable ko of a guy who couldn’t even take a punch at lightweight. Speaking of lightweight, I’d find the Prescott ko more enjoyable. He made khan do the stanky leg first and then put him out while his head was balancing on the bottom rope.

Canelo was patient. He threw the same combo repeatedly until Khan anticipated it, then changed it up and BOOM. Take note Kell.
