Canelo Alvarez has reportedly now been offered an increased two-fight deal by Al Haymon's PBC to fight Jermall Charlo in May, then David Benavidez in Sept. Eddie Hearn's offer is Dmitry Bivol, then Gennady Golovkin. Both worth near $100million. [According to @DanRafael1]

Given that Canelo hasn’t taken a risky fight in four years since 2018, it’s asking a lot of him to suddenly display great courage by facing WBA light heavyweight champion Bivol (19-0, 11 KOs) and Golovkin this year.
Even with his recent arrest, Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) might be too tempting for Canelo not to take because he’s vulnerable right now and someone that looks like easy pickings.
Jermall looked pathetic in his last fight against Juan Macias Montiel, and he appears to have been living it up ever since.
You hate to say it, but Andre Ward is right about Canelo. He’s an “opportunist”with the way he chooses his opposition, and it doesn’t make sense for him to veer away from that to fight Bivol and Golovkin in 2022.
In the case of Canelo, the old saying may be true. ‘Once an opportunist always an opportunist.’
