Comments Thread For: Andrade-Parker: WBO Orders February 25 Purse Bid Hearing For Interim Super Middleweight Title Fight

Demetrius Andrade has arrived at a familiar place. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the WBO interim super middleweight title fight between Providence's Andrade and England's Zach Parker will head to a purse bid hearing. The development comes at the tail end of a second ten-day negotiation period granted for the two sides to work out terms, which apparently still wasn't enough time to get the fight over the line.

At this point it seems that Neither Frank Nor Eddie are willing to talk to each other with respect and have a mature conversation for the good of the sport.

But no, they’re hatred for one another overshadows everything. Both fill there pockets from these fighters.

If Andrade wins then the WBO will no doubt announce an interim title fight for the middleweight belt, whilst Andrade considers his options. Double interim bonus for them

" Unified Interim Titles ".....?????? GTFOH with that. These sanctioning bodies are nothing but gangsters taking a cut out of boxers purses. They should all throw those worthless belts in the trash , keep their money and let their fists do the talking as to who is Champion. **** , make a gold crown for each weight division , just one and have a tournament for it every year.

so not only do we have a wbc, wbc franchise, wba, wba gold, wba silver, wba bronze, wba, wba regular, wba super, ibf, and wbo titles in each weight class, we got to now add 4 interim titles as they will be seen as "champions" too? Add in that it's the middle of February and there hasn't been ONE REAL big fight yet for 2022

Both are crap, horrible, domestic level WBO bums.

Seems to me feers to face Andrade is an accurate example of how boxing can suck. Wishing these **** w/teams would fight Andrade, let alone fight each other is not complaining. We just want top comp, not sure shot matches pumped by media to be comp. Actually? Can we start with Canelo vs any top 3 from MW to LH? Next? How ‘bout Andrade vs Golovkin. More? Yup, Alvarez vs Benevidez would be decent! How ‘bout ASAP!! Saunders vs Dirrell? Why not!! Mall Charlo vs Golovkin or Andrade or even Mungu. It’s not rocket science damnit …
