All talk. If Andrade beats Parker, Andrade v Benivedez will be ordered by WBC & WBO as combined mandatory for Canelo -> purse bids and obvious duck if he pulls out.Comment

He's delusional aaf but it's a problem across the entire sport. Fighters believe they're worth far more than what they can thier promoters and affiliated networks in return. Promotional companies can or are only willing to take a loss on your ass to a certain point......or you get PBC.Comment

Crazy thing is that I think this is what most Andrade opponents do. It's not being scared as much as knowing his style is difficult and nearly impossible to look good against. People want to be paid for the risk but also the threat of their own profiles dropping due to a "bad" or unimpressive showing against him.Comment

I don't see the issue here, lol. Well, it is...but I see how they're doing it here.
He wants more money for Andrade to bait Team Canelo into paying him less if they make the fight. Sounds like this will "boost" the Andrade fight in a way and get folks excited for the next fight (Canelo). Andrade can be promoted as a threat to David while giving both of them career-defining fights, so to speak.
I don't know, man....sometimes you just have to ask for the same thing in a different way and hope it sticks. "Hey, give me $7M to fight Andrade and I'll take uhhh...$2M to fight Canelo." or something like that.
Networks and promoters have wasted money on other fighters and "deals"....I don't see the issue with this one.Comment

While I think Andrade has often times been his own worst enemy when it comes to his career, I agree that his awkward style and skill set makes potential opponents less than thrilled to fight him.Crazy thing is that I think this is what most Andrade opponents do. I think Andrade would be tough to beat and difficult to look good against. Combined that with the fact he doesn't really have a following, the juice isn't worth the squeeze to fight him.

Exactly! He definitely hasn't done himself any favors but he's also made it very easy for people to swerve him and the public sentiment to be supportive of it.
