Former WBA World bantamweight champion Wladimir Sidorenko has made a decision to leave his promotional company Universum Box Promotions. Like Sergiy Dzinziruk, Wladimir want to move to the United States and to continue his career there. But, as Sidorenko notes himself, it will be easier for him to terminate the contract with Universum, because he doesn’t have a title anymore. [details]

Oh my god... Universum is about as ****ed as anything I've seen in a long time. Dzinziruk, Sidorenko and Sturm leave recently, and a ton of their other stars have gone down on big losses, without a ton of big wins to match it.

Universum has been keeping fighters inactive. For example, Dzinziruk hasn't fought this year.

They have only one card scheduled for the last four months of the year. The boxers are not getting enough work and money.

Sauerland is a good German promoter (Abraham, Kessler, Povetkin, Helenius, Pianeta). Their fighters are paid well and brought along in such a way as to develop whatever talent they have. Their cards always have at least two interesting matchups, sometimes three of four.

Overly cost-conscious Kohl of Universum, on the other hand, gets the lowest-priced clubfighters for their up-and-comers and top fighters, and wastes their talent. When they finally do step up, they're unprepared and often lose.

real good thats what it is! i am not big fan of both companys but sauerland did a realy good job this year with the super six !
