I know a fair bit about British banter, being British. Let's agree that there was nothing witty about Fury's comments, so wit is no excuse.

Nor is banter a justification for completely contradicting oneself.

I also remember when Fury was fat, depressed and scared he might have to face up to the BBBofC for his positive drug test, how Joshua offered him some blunt advice of "Get fit you fat fuck." Fury should be thanking him for the tough love.

If your point is that Fury's comments shouldn't be taken at face value: I agree. As I said before, I will no longer put any stock into anything he has to say, because what comes out of his mouth is random shlt that I doubt even he himself believes most of the time.

This fight is not as a daunting task for Joshua, than the Andy Ruiz Junior rematch.

Joshua against Ruiz Junior I was battered. He witnessed a fighter for the very first time, take his power and keep moving forward aggressively.

Everything Joshua did? Ruiz Junior had a answer for.

Usyk in comparison was hit, and he was busted up 'Even though Joshua was not fighting a offensive fight'. Joshua was hurt, but he did not go down and he survive. Joshua can analyse his fight vs Usyk and still retrieve more positives with his performance compared to Andy Ruiz Junior I.

That is why I think, Joshua is sounding more aggressive in the build up to this rematch.

Win or lose, there is a storm coming towards Usyk.

Mate, this upcoming fight is more daunting. Joshua knew where he went wrong against Ruiz. He was a major Favourite going into fight 1 with Ruiz. A shock knockout at Heavyweight is much easier to explain to yourself.

Rather than his fight with usyk, where he had to sit down and get back up 12 times, he didn’t make a single adjustment to help him negate usyk strengths.

Against Ruiz he knew if he moved his feet and boxed, Ruiz plods and could never keep up, as in fight one, AJ was comfy boxing on the outside until he got caught.

Against usyk, he knows he can’t win by decision as his skill level isn’t anywhere near usyks. He knows If he just opens up usyk will slip and counter him. He knows usyk can hurt him as he was ready to fall in round 12. His only way is a knockout. The later the fight goes, the more desperate he will become.

Usyk truly revealed joshuas level, and it’s nowhere near Usyk or Fury.
