Maybe Mchunu is just a very difficult style match up for him and just about anyone lets not forget a short replacement and injured Mchunu also gave Usyk a pretty good fight. He's a quality fighter with a horribly deceptive record and a style that'll make anyone look schit. Two southpaws fight each other chances are neither are going to look good unless its a Stevenson vs Dawson type situation.

Perfect fight to deceive people into thinking he isn't a danger.

How on Earth anyone can say a legitimate top 3 CW with skills that can punch isn't a threat is beyond me. Canelo has fought once at LHW in a so & so performance he has serious balls taking this fight. Weight divisions for a reason when you start messing around with guys that much bigger that is when your body very quickly falls apart and your prime goes in an instant.

Makubu = not an elite Cruiserweight.
Canelo = not a natural Cruiserweight.

I'm not going to pretend Makubu is something special and I'm not going to pretend I think Canelo hasn't noticed that either but I couldnt give Canelo no credit for stepping in the ring even with even a half decent Cruiser. That's 1 away from Heavyweight and Canelo IMO naturally belongs between 154 and 160.
