This is a thinnly veiled insult to Wilder. Now Wilder is dangerous but has become a gatekeeper for the heavyweight division. If Wilder were offered the fight, I believe after seeing Jared Anderson fight several times that he would knock out Wilder. This is sad but true.
Best guess is you will see Wilder take a comeback fight against mediocre opponent. Then get a shot at a belt. Assuming there is gonna be stripping soon because alphabets are losing $ in unification. He’s not getting a belt again as long as Usyk and Fury have them. His next loss - he retires
Right Bob, Mike Tyson had no boxing ability. Gimme a break. He had excellent defense, good footwork, and a full arsenal of punches and knew how to cut odd the ring. He didn't dominate so many top level (and much larger) fighters by being only a puncher. I award him the YDKSAB award for that comment, even if he's too old now to realize how dumb the comment is.

Mike was good but not that good. He got beat by a simple 1-2 and couldn't figure it out. If his opponent knew how to move then Mike would always struggle or lose.
This a pretty funny remark, and pithy, too. Well said
Also, I disagree with the previous poster, but for diff reasons..
I'd say he was exposed around well before Fury. Even Wilder's biggest fans around here will agree that he'd been getting outclassed in fights and getting away with it, apart from Stiverne and Breazeale, both of whom he out boxed before murdering.
He finally found someone that can ride his equalizer, I guess, but Ortiz x 2 could have gone either way, plus Molina and Washington(!) gave him problems.
Years ago, I was saying on here that it was only a matter of time before someone takes him.
I disagree about Washington. He was coming of off a broken hand and surgery on his forearm I think. He was gun shy but the first right hand he threw ended the fight.
Anderson needs some more fights imo. He hasnt even fought a Molina or better yet Ajagba type. He improves every fight but hasnt quite stepped up his comp to at least 2nd tier yet.
