Dillian Whyte has claimed another small victory in the ongoing battle over proper treatment ahead of his first major title shot. BoxingScene.com has learned that a second purse bid delay has come ahead of Whyte's challenge of WBC/lineal champion Tyson Fury. The matter was due to head to purse bid on Tuesday--following a one-week postponement--but was once again pushed back to at least Friday, January 21.

More drama than a soap opera. Beginning to feel like neither really wants this fight.

Does anyone want this fight? Whyte is a fat bum who got knocked out by a senior citizen. Isn't Whyte the guy who said Wilder should've stopped complaining and taken his biggest pay day?

Depends how many levels above the bum Wilder you think Whyte is .
Let's be honest he'll put up more fight before Fury gets to him.
It'll fill a stadium not a half full arena because people actually want to see it.
Will it generate as much cash no but does anyone care?

Most of the ppvs will be sold to people wanting to see Whyte shut up the rest to people wanting Fury to be shut up .. can't lose really.

No one rated Wilder outside of the cult of Haymon .. first real test for Fury in years.

Fury needs to forget this fight and go straight for a WWE world title run. In all seriousness though, just make the fight. It's the perfect opponent for Fury for a UK homecoming, given that Joshua is not available. I think Joyce would beat Whyte, but Whyte is a bigger money name, bigger fanbase and better resume, so he's ideal for Fury. Whyte will give it a good go, Fury will win, people will be entertained.

They also have history/beef, and the build-up would be fun. I wish things could just be more simple in boxing, but greed and ego just gets in the way of everything, or at least, causes unneeded delays. Nash out.

Both sides are probably worried that Triller or some other random company will bid high on the fight. I think Fury's side blinks first and offers more than 25%.

Shyte is delusional with his purse demands. He's trying to break the bank after a knockout loss two fights ago.

I can't remember a single time when something went to purse bid and it wasn't delayed or called off or otherwise messed around with
