Comments Thread For: Kyoguchi-Bermudez: WBA Sets January 7 Deadline To Receive Contracts For Title Consolidation Bout

Matchroom Boxing now has less than a week to deliver contracts for a fight that has been the works for months. A final deadline of January 7 has been set for proof of firm plans in place for the WBA junior flyweight title consolidation bout between WBA "Super" champion Hiroto Kyoguchi and "World" titlieholder Esteban Bermudez. Both parties and event promoter Eddie Hearn were notified by the sanctioning body on December 29 of a ten-day period assigned to provide signed contracts and with the fight to take place no later than February 9.

Because the winner has to fight Jesse Rodriguez.

Snake oil salesman Eddie has been trying to weasel his way out of this one for ages.

Literally had Bermudez pulled with no reason given last minute so that Rodriguez didnt smash both Bermudez and Kyoguchi.

This way he at least saves one.
Hes squirming like a cornered rat at the moment, seconds before his impending, inevitable death thrall.

      The screws are getting tighter.

The WBA wouldn't allow Bermudez to fight Bam because he was obligated to fight Kyoguchi.

Something is fishy, you got two guns pointed at the 'Regular' and 'Super' WBA champion, who gets the bullet? Or is the WBA eliminating two birds with one stone?

So why was this fight scheduled and signed by Hearn?
Why was this pullout, with no reason given which according to you they had a valid one, done literally last second?
Rodriguez was literally about to fight him.
They just ended up wasting his time with a tune-up for no belt, thus delaying him for one more fight.

Eddie got scared that Rodriguez was going to tear through Bermudez like an acid layered chainsaw through a loaf of bread.

Poor Eddie. He cant stop whats coming.

Yours is from the 16th of September.
Youre telling me, in the difference between articles, supposedly Hearn and the WBA let the Bermudez-Rodriguez fight go through and didn't scrap it at any other point in time, until it literally was up, and not on any other time before?

                Su****ious.

When you want to figure out the culprit, find out who has most to gain.

Conversely, also who has most to lose.

I'm not trying to figure out who "the culprit" is. You can have it, man.
