Canelo was the full WBC world champion at Middleweight and then Morris Sillyman gave him the Franchise belt and passed on the full WBC world title to Jermall Charlo by email.
Looking at the Lightweight division it appears the Franchise WBC belt is to be regarded as the major WBC belt and is required to be part of the UNDISPUTED set.
Is Canelo still the Franchise champ at 160 even though he has moved up and does that mean neither Mall Charlo or anybody else can become undisputed at the weight?
