Comments Thread For: Hamzah Sheeraz Drops, Stops Bradley Skeete in Ninth Round

Hamzah Sheeraz recorded the biggest win of his career to date as he stopped Bradley Skeete in the ninth round on the Arthur-Yarde bill in London, although he can count himself slightly lucky that he was not disqualified after landing a huge punch when Skeete was on the floor.

        He should have been DQ'd.

2 clear shots to the head when the opponent was down. Skeete didn't recover and shouldn't have continued. Terrible refereeing as usual from British refs.

100% agree. Why was the ref whispering in his ear? I'm sure he was advising him to get up or lose by K.O. Having said that...his corner should have jumped in the ring straight away. They should never accepted the fight continuing. Imagine if that was Norman Stone in the corner. That ref would have been laid out.
