Comments Thread For: Frank Sanchez Backs Canelo To Do Well at Cruiser: He Punches Like a Heavyweight

Unbeaten heavyweight contender Frank Sanchez expects his gym stablemate, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, to do very well in the cruiserweight division. Canelo, who earlier this month became the undisputed super middleweight champion by knocking out Caleb Plant, is looking to move up to the cruiserweight limit of 200-pounds.

He definitely isn't getting a title shot next year. The first half is being taken by a WBC mandatory and AJ vs Usyk rematch and the second half will either be unification or more mandatories.

The Ajagba fight was trash Sanchez fights like a scared rat. Clenelo hits like a 147 pounder. Don King and Makabu have already agreed to take the dive for 10 million $$$.

So Sanchez says he hits like a heavyweight now? Really? A guy 5' 8" hits like a heavyweight. When you look at my sig gifs, he hit like a welterweight or an average middleweight. GGG walked right through his punches the first fight. Second fight Canelo's a different animal. Somehow his punches hurt in the second fight. Fast forward several years later, and Canelo is hitting like a heavyweight. Either Sanchez is kissing Canelo's ass because he has to see him everyday, or we all know the reason why he's hitting like a 6' 4" heavyweight.

He's not hitting like a hw, those are a$$ kissing comments. If Canelo believes his entourage, let him fight a cw. But my gut tells me he's not completely sold on that.

If Canelo believed that crap, he would be at heavyweight, waiting to get Usyk fight.

Canelo obviously doesn`t think so, he is not even in hurry to fight top 175 dogs.
