fan wise...... i noticed that Fury seems more popular than Wlad back when Wlad was champ on here and other boxing forums...

hypocritical? Wlad was criticized on here for being "boring" and just big, but yet Fury is bigger than Wlad but doesn't get the same amount of criticism?

    No.
Wladimir used to sell out massive stadiums in Germany and his PPV numbers are insane.

Love him or hate him, Fury can't draw flies to ****.

I believe this to be the case as well.

Americans prefer trash talkers. You can see it in the way Gordom Ramsay's shows are produced in the UK vs the U.S. In the U.S. kitchen nightmares has all sorts of cussing, drama yelling, spooky music and cliff hangers. In the UK version of the show people act fairly normal and regular and its a very relaxed show.

Wlad was definitely more of a draw than Fury, I believe Wlad is one of the most underrated heavyweights of all time, he was a class act as a human being and was undefeated for a decade as a champion, had great power and heart of a champion.

In america he is more popular, but in mainland Europe Wladimir Kiltsschko & Vitali Kiltschko where Icon's and a great inspiration to people all over the eastern Europe I would imagine.

I can remember one time, I was talking to a German woman who stated 'Whenever the Kiltschko's fight, our whole family watches'. I was trying to talk to this girl about boxing, but her knowledge was limited 'Accept for events regarding the Kiltschko's'.

Wladimir Kiltschko was a great Champion, it was unfortunate that a Champion of close to 10 years was denied a rematch with Tyson Fury.

Yep Americans tend to be goofy and friendly for no reason

This works better with Fury’s personality

VS the cool calm collected east Europe personality

Having a sense of humor is important to Americans

stoic East euros like the Klitch bros were too serious

Khabib and Usyk have a sense of humor. It helps with the American fanbase

Fury definitely is more popular in America than Klitschko ever was.
