Comments Thread For: Crawford: Right Now, Canelo Is Number One P4P; He's Captured All The Titles In His Division

LAS VEGAS - Terence Crawford appreciates anyone who places him atop his or her pound-for-pound list. We have reached the point, however, that even the prideful Crawford considers Canelo Alvarez the number one boxer, pound-for-pound, in the sport. Him and Canelo are similar, undoubtedly top 3 lb4lb talent, but abysmal bottom feeders in terms of resumes.

He's right up there, and Canelo might fall off the perch if he avoids Benavidez much longer.

I think Canelo will probably fight him, and the other most difficult opponents, but he's in no hurry, and he's going to make them wait long.

Crawford and Canelo are similar only if Canelo had run from all the big names and not accomplished much with the talent he was given.

                  Right?

I mean, this is huge. NSB doesn't understand how huge this is.

This guy is already mentally rattled. He has to be. HE HAS TO BE.

There's just no damn way he would openly acknowledge this unless he was shook as hell.

                  Last month, Crawford:

                  https://*******.com/crawfordcanelo

“Who me? Yeah, I’ll beat any of these fighters,” Crawford said when asked if he could beat Canelo. “Sometimes, I can’t believe it that I’m the best fighter in the world. I’m the best. I really believe it. I be like, ‘Damn, I’m Terence Crawford,” said Terence.
