I just got back from vacation in Mexico. Down there the media is saying that Reynoso only did this to get everyone's panties up in a bunch, by the looks of it, it's working..... They don't want long negotiations like they did with Plant amongst others, for their next fight, from people who think they are worth the stars and the moon...

He embraces the huge payday he’s gonna get.

He’ll automatically be the richest man in Africa.

Despite the weight difference, the guy is very slow, defensively poor, and has terrible balance(watch his fight against Dmitriy Kudryashov), and Canelo sees that he'll be able to out speed and out smart this big man and land a lot of leather on him and it will look incredible to some because of the size of the guy, but Canelo also knows this is nothing new to him because he beats up on big slow heavyweights in the gym all the time. After how much he was missing and getting hit against Plant, his team decided he was gonna lose eventually if they kept fighting young faster guys at 168, especially Benavidez because he throws a lot of punches and is too dangerous and risky, so Canelo would be better off fighting someone slow with bad balance who'll be wide open and easy to hit, and on top of that, he actually has a belt, so it's another thing for the record books, so it's a win-win for the team.

Ilunga Makabu Embraces Handing over his belt for large sum of money

Can't say I blame him. I think he'll be on the floor before the end of the 3rd, fight over by 6th.

That is unless Canelo carries him, which he might.

Canelo definitely avoiding any of the 3 B's, Benavidez, Bivol & Beterbiev.
