Plant is a stand up dude too. Both guys left it all in the ring and then after come together and talk with there heart. That’s what boxing is all about. Incredible respect to both men.

the reality is that Plant was still slightly concussed. dude was still feeling numb in the head and on cloud nine. That's not your usual stamina drain or being tired after a fight. Canelo rocked him with that leaping RJJ hook and Plant took Canelo's right uppercut bending down. He took mad shots to the head at the end. Dude was humbled

I have really grown to like Canelo, I must admit. I've considered him an elite fighter for a long time but I was always pretty neutral when it came to supporting him. The PED stuff is definitely an asterisk but I think most top level boxers are on something, so I kinda overlook it at this point. Boxing is a dirty, dirty business before it's a sport.

Canelo is a fine face of the sport for this era. He's a warrior and his skills are absolutely ELITE. For the most part I shall be rooting for him in the future, depending on who he's fighting.
