I remember Frankie Gomez was supposed to be one of the top young future champions in boxing, good amateur background, similar style to Miguel Cotto, but his last fight was in 2016 and he beat Maurcio Herrera, he was still undefeated.
The only thing I remember is he would balloon in weight, he got fat and maybe that is one of the reasons he stopped boxing? he just disappeared and hasn;t been seen since. What a waste, could have at least stay discipline and made money to retire but just quit.
Only thing I can find is from Sergio Mora in a 2021 interview saying that Frankie Gomez was doing some fraud and then Golden Boy shouldn't have paid him money up front and it made him lazy some commentator said that Frankie is fat now and works as a mechanic
Here is the most recent photo of him with a huge gut and weighing 200 pounds in 2018 he was a mechanic at this time he has no social media dude just got lazy and couldn't stay disciplined loved to eat too much
