Boots Ennis is probably the best thing to happen to the WW division in recent memory. Neither Spence or Crawford are afraid to fight Boots, however he'll be their mandatory soon enough, and it may make more sense for both of them to get in the ring with each other now, for a huge payday, rather than be forced to fight Ennis, who's just as difficult a fight, for a lot less.

But yeah, Crawford is acting like a bona-fide hoe recently. When you make statements like you don't know if you'll take the Spence fight even for 50-50, I gotta call it like I see it.

In a few years Crawford will retire with no big fights under his belt and be quickly forgotten by all but hardcore boxing fans. Legacy is just as much about moments you create and he has non.

Crawford is an undoubtedly talented fighter, but also incredibly unlikeable. He lets petty beefs get in the way of a better legacy.

There was a time when Terence Crawford wanted nothing more than a showdown with Errol Spence Jr. It's a matchup that the unbeaten three-division and reigning WBO welterweight titlist still craves, though not one that remains a focal point ahead of the more realistic fights that can be made.
