Good to know GBP is staying at DAZN. It's their best option. No need to for a talent like Vergil Ortiz to go to PBC and Top Rank ESPN and have his career wasted.

floyd didnt leave top rank while he was at the top or had reached the pinnacle...it was after he left that he ascended......schaffer handed oscar a ready made canelo...ready to be a star...he put in all the real work.....was it oscar pairing canelo on floyd undercards and angling/making floyd / canelo? nope....and youre desperate and reaching if you think canelo losing that fight had to start him over from scratch from some "embarrassment"...it didnt...it helped launch him....you are so out of touch with reality its scary

manny and floyd didnt leave their promoter at their peak the way canelo has...floyd left before he took off...manny left far after the ride was over...canelo is at his peak right now and oscar blew it....blew a star that he was handed.....hes already beefed with ry on social media and it wont be long before those two are at it again....watch
Spoken like a true casual… If Schafer and Haymon build Canelo up why didn’t he choose to go w/t PBC? The answer is b/c they didn’t, Oscar & Eric Gomez did. Again, Canelo stock was @ an all time low after the humiliating Floyd defeat most pundits saw the Ginger as nothing more than a novelty act. However, Oscar was able to rebuild the Ginger into the face of boxing while making him the highest payed, PPV Star and attraction in the sport. Haymon and least of all Schafer have never built anyone that caliber post their Golden Boy days. Anyways, as far as Schafer goes Uncle Al don’t even fookk w/t him, he rather work w/t Tom Brown than the Swiss banker that should tell you all you need. Look @ Schafer involvement in the World Boxing Super Series another failure on top of the Ringstar promotions disaster now you see why only Irish drug cartels would get in business w/t that snake.

Probably had something to do with Virgil moving with Reynoso. They know they are about to strike gold with him and the Mexican fan base.

Oscar had a chance to move to Triller and it looks like he leveraged that to get a good deal from DAZN.

As a boxing fan I'm just glad Golden Boy has a home somewhere. They consistently put on good cards, probably the best in all of American boxing. Their matchmaker knows what he's doing.

You don't get random crap that leads nowhere like PBC, or a bunch of showcase fights like Top Rank.

if DAZN was going to stay in the boxing game who else were they going to depend on to bring talent? just hearn alone?
Perhaps they knew that and was the reason they decided to hash out some differences and continue the relationship??

It's great for myself because theres numerous fighters I love to watch, both on GBP and Matchrooms roster, for only $8.50/month. A drop in the bucket compared to all these ridiculous PPV's PBC and Top Rank are throwing out there. I get Joshua,Usyk,Whyte,Vergil,Ryan,Haney, possibly Canelo again,Mikey,Teo(one off),Jojo,Andrade,Estrada,Sor, Choco and GGG for a few more fights etc...
Honestly, getting to watch Joshua,Usyk Vergil,Ryan and Mikey fight twice a yr,alone is worth the $100/yr subscription. Throw in a possible Canelo return?? A lot posters like to **** on Hearn/DAZN but who else is giving us that type of content? Put it this way,1 Tank PPV against low level comp....or 1 yrs worth of the fighters I mentioned? Pretty easy choice if you ask me.

They should let Oscar lead the charge in the US. Despite his problems, he’s a far more accomplished promoter than Hearn, he knows the US market, knows how to create stars.

I don't think they have re-upped with DAZN yet but I sure hope they do. Please give GBP a bigger budget and let them put on great shows like always!
